Products & Materials Where is Guardian jewellery manufactured?

All our pieces are made in Finland and designed by us. You can find our GOTO stamp and material markings on every Guardian piece. The chains that we use are made in Europe; in Germany and in Italy. We do the assembling and packaging ourselves in the small village of Kirkkonummi in Finland.

Our 925 sterling silver products are made of recycled silver. Gold-plated products are made of recycled bronze that is gold-plated.

How should I take care of my Guardian products?

General use and care instructions

To ensure that your jewelry gives you pleasure for many years, it is important to take care of it in the best way possible.

Keep it in our signature jewelry box when not wearing it. Clean with a cotton wipe after each use to remove make-up and grease. Remove your jewelry when bathing, doing the dishes, gardening, etc. to protect it from unnecessary wear. No metal, including silver and gold, can tolerate salt or chlorinated water.

Silver jewelry

The typical tarnishing of silver may be cleaned off with a silver polishing cloth. After cleaning the piece of jewelry with a silver polishing cloth, rinse the jewelry in mild soapy water so that the residue detergent from the cloth does not stain. We do not recommend silver polish liquids for any of our silver jewelry.

Gold-plated jewelry

If your gold-plated jewelry needs more thorough cleaning, make a water-soap solution using lukewarm water and a gentle soap. Wash it gently with your hands. Do not use brush or polishing cloth for gold-plated jewelry. Dry the jewelry with soft towel or tissue paper.

Sustainability Do you use any recycled materials?

All our Guardian pieces are made from recycled silver or from recycled bronze that is gold-plated. Our packaging materials are ecologically friendly and 100% recyclable.

You too can minimise the burden on the environment that is caused by waste: sort your packaging waste according to instructions in your own community or country.
